Bought and sold a Single Family home in 2020 in Key Biscayne, FL.
For those of you who have purchased or sold a house and at the closing, wondered why the realtor walked off with such a large check for doing so little, I’d like to introduce Ginette Orozco, who earned her pay and then some. She recently represented us as a Buyer Agent and for starts, suggested we offer a price significantly below what was being asked but then when appraisals were undertaken on that accepted lower price, it turned out she was spot on with 3 appraisals being no more than a few thousand off from our purchase price. It then turned out the house had many problems- the major ones being termite infestation and mold. Ginette further negotiated a lower price from the seller and provided us with the best companies to undertake the remediation work and she oversaw their activity all during the inspection period. She then had to provide access to the building at least 3 times for appraisals and alerted us that the house needed to be attached to the City sewer system- again, work she oversaw and negotiated that the closing would not occur until that sewer line work was completed. Finally, Ginette was more than helpful at closing to ensure we secured beach access rights with the house.
All exemplary efforts by a broker and we would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.
